SAN ANGELO–Abstract artist, Adrian Jesus Falcon's one night only, PETS-N-KIDS Art fundraiser, took place over the weekend at the Black Swan Wine Bar, located at 118 S. Chadbourne St.

Falcon's first time to ever hold the fundraiser event in San Angelo was to raise money in behalf of his nonprofit organization, centro de arte Falcon, which is located in Ixmiquilpan, Mexico and Critter Shack.

Susan Daniel, owner of the Black Swan, stated that 12 paintings were sold out of the 20 that Falcon brought from his office, based in Del Rio, Texas. 

Adrian started his business, Falcon Art Gallery, 18 years ago.

 Approximately 50 people showed up for the event.

Among the 50 individuals who attended the event, were Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Leslie Smith. Mike works for Jim Bass Ford and Leslie is a realtor for ERA Newlin Company.

Falcon, has shown his work in Paris, Mexico City and Italy.

Prior to the art event, a social hour was held from 7-8 p.m. followed by a live painting from 8-9 p.m. and concluded with an auction from 9-10 p.m.
