SAN ANGELO—ADACCV hosted their 13th annual “Let It Go Rally and Run”. The event is put on for the community as means to participate in support of ADACCV’s work to help addicts in need.

Eric Sanchez, CEO of ADACCV since 2001, stated “Our recovery rally is to let everyone know that treatment works and that recovery is possible from addiction and substance abuse disorders. People can get help when they need it, and we’re always available.”

This year’s rally which was held at El Paseo de Santa Angela, 34 W Ave D., promoted the organization’s goal to raise money to build the “Journey Recovery Center.” The center is going to host a detox program, expand their treatment beds, as well as combine Will’s House and Sarah’s House into a single facility.

“Call us if you need help,” Eric said, “We are available twenty-four hours a day.” The ADACCV team as well as the ADACCV Alumni promote the recovery process and hope to have the “Journey Recovery Center” built within the next year.

They encourage community members interested in donating to visit their website and purchase a brick to fund the center’s construction.
