SAN ANGELO – The Concho Valley C.A.R.E.S. Coalition (Community Action and Resources for Empowerment and Success), and The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley (ADACCV) in collaboration with The San Angelo Police Department, The Tom Green County Sherriff’s Office, TxDOT and The San Angelo Fire Department will host a press conference on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office at 222 W Harris Ave.

December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, or 4D Month: Drunk, Drugged and Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Great strides have been made in sending the message that driving while impaired is dangerous and presents a serious public health risk to all on the road. Despite these strides, however, drunk, drugged and distracted driving continues in the Concho Valley resulting in the loss of precious life.

Join us for this joint 4D Month Press Conference, including the following speakers:

 Deputy Keith Muncey, Tom Green County Sherriff’s Department

 Mona Lisa Didelot, Traffic Safety Specialist, Texas Department of Transportation
