Conexión Hispana CEO, Gregorio Gutiérrez with Santa Claus

Santa Claus made an appearance and was available for pictures; hot chocolate and sweet treats were provided. Visitors were able to see a rendering of the ADACCV’s new facility, the Journey Recovery Center. ADACCV's construction on the facility gets underway later this month.  Visitors purchasing brick pavers will be entered into a drawing for exciting prizes, including a $100 gift card.  Brick pavers may be purchased for $50, $100 or $200.

Hidden in Plain Sight is a FREE community initiative of the CV CARES Coalition to help educate parents on possible signs of drug and alcohol use by teens.  A teenager’s bedroom is replicated to allow parents to “snoop” around to find indicators of drug use and hiding spots with guided support and educational resources.

100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit ADACCV’s detox expansion project, The Journey Recovery Center. The expansion will allow ADACCV to consolidate its residential treatment services to one location and double its residential treatment capacity by providing 30 male treatment beds and 18 female treatment beds. ADACCV will also add residential detoxification services that can accommodate up to 12 clients.

ADACCV is a 501c3 nonprofit and its mission is to save lives and create healthier communities.
