Conexión San Ángelo/ Staff report

SAN ANGELO – Sonrisas Therapeutic Riding will hold a ground-breaking for a sensory trail at noon, Jan. 6 at 5185 S. Bryant Lane (between Word of Life church and Mosiac).

Kevin Frank, a Boy Scouts of America member of Troop 363 will join volunteers from Leadership San Angelo, the Boy Scouts and others to break ground on the trail — Kevin’s Eagle Scout project.

Leadership San Angelo, a voluntary training program focused on areas strategic to the city's well-being, will have about 20 volunteers among the 50 others working from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will donate a bench to the trail.

Lunch will be served at noon, after the ground-breaking, and this would be the best opportunity for interviews with Kevin, Sonrisas representatives and Justin DeLoach, Leadership San Angelo co-chairman of fundraising.
