SAN ANGELO –With Tuesday’s March 6 Primary elections concluded, here are a few tabulation results from various county, state and federal positions where races were contested.

In the US Representative District 11 race between Republican incumbent, Mike Conaway and Paul Myers, Conaway won with 6,380 votes which represented 87.94%, compared to Myers’ 875 votes, a 12.06%.

The U.S. Senator Republican race was won by incumbent, Ted Cruz as he easily outdistanced his four other opponents. Cruz garnered 6, 190 votes for an 86.66%. 

On the Democratic side for that U.S. Senate seat, Beto 'O Rourke won his race, handily against two others with 1,342 votes which represents 75.01%. 

The Justice, 3rd Court of Appeals Place 6 Republican winner was Michael Tooth with 2,785 votes which reflects a 50.26%.

Locally in the Tom Green County Commissioner Precinct 2 race, Sammy Farmer edged out Tana Sue Pyssen by 241 votes, 1,252 to 1,493. With Famer's win, he will replace Precinct 2 Commissioner Aubrey De Cordova, who decided to retire after his three terms.

The Precinct Republican Chairman Pct. 230 between Anna Bartosh and Martha Visney went to Bartosh as she garnered 376 votes (71.76%); Visney received 148 votes (28.24%)

The County shows approximately 64,717 registered voters a 14.50 %, of which 9,385 went to the polls and voted.
