SAN ANGELO –  The San Angelo March4OurLives was held at the Tom Green County Courthouse at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018. The march was one of hundreds happening around the country planned by students and survivors of gun violence in communities big and small, in all 50 states. The national day of action focused on calling for lawmakers to make students’ lives and safety a priority and to pass common-sense gun safety legislation.

Speakers included Area High School students as well as the following: 

-Mark Bethune, Las Vegas mass shooting survivor and executive Director of the Concho Valley Community Action Agency

-Retired Three Star General and pastor of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, Ronnie Hawkins, Jr. 

-Rev. Charles Greenwell, pastor and priest at Holy Angels Catholic Church
