SAN ANGELO – After the opening ceremonies recently, the 33rd annual American Plains Artist Exhibit got underway as the exhibition was held in Barracks 6 which was located on the grounds of the Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, open to the public from June 28 until August 5.

Among the 112 pieces of artwork were: Makin' for Cover bronze sculpture by Jeff Jones, White Eagle oil painting done by Susan Temple Neumann, an oil painting, titled—Still Riding by Victor Blakey, Tim Harmon’s bronze sculpture, Cowboy Tech Support,  David Dorsey’s acrylic painting, named Fire and Ice, Jason Lohmeier’s oil on linen painting—Last Dance with Destiny, Mary Michael’s bronze sculpture, named: Tall Cool One, Kristen Abramson had her Spirit Journey bronze sculpture on display and John David Rule’s Grand Entry Rule bronze sculpture were just nine pieces of artwork highlighted by Conexión.
