San Angelo – University Theatre at Angelo State University will present an evening of short plays by David Ives for its second 2018 summer dinner theatre beginning Thursday, July 26, in the ASU Modular Theatre.

Performances will be at 8 p.m. July 26-28 and Aug. 2-4, with dinner served at 6:45 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29, with lunch served at 12:45 p.m. Tickets are $20 for the general public, $15 for non-ASU students and Arts at ASU subscribers, and $12.50 for ASU students and ASU Activity Card holders. The ASU Modular Theatre is in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

Directed by Mike Burnett, assistant director of University Theatre, the collection of short plays will consist of six comedies by Ives, who has been called the “maestro of the short form” by the New York Times.
