SAN ANGELO – While Goodfellow Air Force Base’ annual Sports Day Alpha Warrior Battle Rig Tour events included on the undercard: softball, volleyball, flag football, pull the fire truck tow, etc., the main event this year was the Alpha Warrior Challenge which had two celebrities, NBC’s American Ninja Warrior Pros on hand--Kevin Klein and Rebekah Bonilla.

Conexión attended the first day competition of Sports Day and caught up with Klein for a brief interview.

We’re out here at Goodfellow Air Force Base for the Alpha Warrior Battle Rig competition to support all the airmen on this their sports day at the end of Resiliency Week.” “It has been a fun day and thanks to everyone for coming out,” said Kevin Klein. “I’m here more for camaraderie, morale and high fives.”

Klein didn’t participate in the competition nor did his fellow Ninja Warrior, partner, Bonilla, but were simply there to do a course run-through demonstration on how to do it.

“I compete on Ninja Warriors’ season 10 and that will start on May 30th.”  “Also, on Ninja versus Ninja which airs Monday nights USA Network,” concluded Klein. Two episodes have already been filmed and ready to air.
