The iconic, Easter Bunny made his appearance at the Sunset Mall’s Easter “Eggstravaganza” held at the Sunset Mall on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
El icónico Conejo de Pascua hizo su aparición en el Easter “Eggstravaganza” del Sunset Mall que se llevó a cabo en el Sunset Mall el sábado 16 de abril de 2022.
SAN ANGELO –While Hip Hop artists’ lyrics appeals to a young demographic group, there’s another “Hip Hop” iconic figure, the Easter Bunny who made his appearance at the 20th annual, Easter “Eggstravaganza” held at the Sunset Mall, 4001 Sunset Drive on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The Easter Bunny, also known as Easter Hare, Peter, his own unique lyrics “Hip Hop, Cottontail “hopping down the bunny trail” was greeted by his adoring fanbase of two-year-olds to older prior to the 10:30 a.m. start.
One of those was 10-year-old Aspen Mitcheltree accompanied by her mother, Shelly. Aspen got a good portion of eggs to make her Easter egg hunt worthwhile.
Deana Fletcher, Sunset Mall General Manager, and MaKenzie Ocker, Marketing who were stationed at two mall entrances, gave the green light to hundreds of kids to hunt for 6,000 eggs scattered throughout the mall area. Ocker stated that she ordered 600 boxes of 100 pre-filled, plastic shaped eggs for this Eggstravaganza.
Among the Mall stores to contribute cool giveaways included: Clare’s, the Buckle, Dippin Dots ice cream, Empire Sports, Cards & Collectibles, etc. The Easter Hare was available afterward to take photos with families and their children.
There were also other Easter hare sightings over the holiday weekend, a few such as 1st Community Federal Credit Union, 3505 Wildewood Dr. from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. And, “Hip Hop” Cactus Market Days was held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Cactus Hotel in downtown San Angelo.

SAN ÁNGELO – Si bien las letras de los artistas de Hip Hop atraen a un grupo demográfico joven, hay otra figura icónica de los saltitos "Hip Hop", el Conejo de Pascua, quien hizo su aparición en la vigésima edición anual de Easter "Eggstravaganza" celebrada en el Sunset Mall, 4001 Sunset Drive. el sábado 16 de abril de 2022.
El Conejo de Pascua, también conocido como Liebre de Pascua, Peter, fue recibido por sus admiradores de dos años en adelante antes del comienzo del evento a las 10:30 a.m.
Uno de los asistentes era Aspen Mitcheltree, de 10 años, acompañada por su madre, Shelly. Aspen consiguió una buena porción de huevos para que su búsqueda de huevos de Pascua valiera la pena.
