The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts will host Family Clay Day in
Partnership with the Concho Clay Studio at the Art Museum located at One
Love Street. This free event runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the
Education Studio.
In-Person Family Days are back! Join us while we explore
SAMFA’s exhibits: Banjara Textiles and Jewelry from the Jerez Collection
and Towards a 21st Century Abstraction with activities inspired by the
exhibits and fun gallery games. Please note that the museum’s galleries
will open at 11 am.
Activities include
A Ceramic Weaving Activity 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
A Seek-and-Find and Self-guided Tour to in the Galleries (starting at
11:00 am and available until the museum closes)
Abstract Coloring activity in the education studio.
The Education Studio will open at 10:00 am.
And the main Museum’s galleries will open at 11:00 am.
The San Angelo Museum of Fine Art’s business hours are Tuesday through Saturday from
11:00am – 4:00pm and Sundays from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
All of our Family Day Activities are free for all ages.
Please note that if you want your ceramic artwork fired in the kiln, you
will be able to pay a small fee for the Concho Clay Studio to fire it for
you! You may also take home your un-fired clay to re-wet and keep playing
with at home.
