Qué puede hacer la palabra de Dios (La Biblia) por mí?
Hebreos 4:12-13 “Porque la palabra de Dios es viva y eficaz, y más cortante que toda espada de dos filos; y penetra hasta partir el alma y el espíritu, las coyunturas y los tuétanos, y discierne los pensamientos y las intenciones del corazón. Y ante él no hay cosa creada que sea oculta, sino que todo está descubierto y desnudo a los ojos de aquel a quien tenemos que dar cuenta.”
De este pasaje aprendemos:
1. La Palabra de Dios es viva. Eso significa que es relevante para mi vida.
2. La Palabra de Dios (La Biblia) es capaz de llegar al corazón de mis problemas, como un cirujano puede encontrar un cáncer. La palabra de Dios va directo al problema.
3. La palabra revela los problemas de raíz. Nuestros pensamientos e intenciones se revelan cuando ponemos la palabra ante nuestras vidas.
4. Puesto que nada está oculto ante Dios, la Palabra nos ayuda a ser honestos en nuestra relación con él.
Puesto que estas cosas son ciertas, nos regocijamos en la Palabra de Dios, que nos ayuda a acercarnos con confianza al trono de la gracia y recibir misericordia para ayudarnos en tiempos de necesidad.

What Does the Bible Say?
What can the word of God (The Bible) do for me? What does the Bible say?
Hebrews 4:12-13 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And before him no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”
From this scripture we learn:
1. The Word of God is living. That means it is relevant to my life.
2. The Word of God (The Bible) is able to cut to the heart of my problems, like a surgeon can find a cancer. The word of God goes right to the problem.
3. The word reveals root problems. Our thoughts and intentions are revealed when we hold up the word before our lives.
4. Since nothing is hidden before God the word helps us to be honest in our relationship with him.
Since these things are true we rejoice in the Word of God. Which helps us draw near with confidence to the thrown of grace and receive mercy to help in time of need.
