The monthly meeting of the San Angelo TEA Party will be held Tuesday, May 14th from 6:30-8:00pm at West Texas Training Center (Howard College campus), 3501 US Hwy 67 North. Guest speaker will be George Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez is a nationally known blogger, author, and a regular guest on Fox News, Univision, and various state and national news outlets. He has dedicated his life to sharing conservative values with Hispanics and with all Americans.
As a presidential appointee Mr. Rodriguez has worked for the Department of Justice in community relations and immigration outreach, as a White House public liaison on community outreach, and with legislators on civil rights and immigration legislation. He recently completed his first book, “El Conservador: Conservative Opinions” which is available through Amazon and other book outlets.
Mr. Rodriguez is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Political Science and Community Relations. He can be followed at Elconservador.net, on Facebook at “El Conservador” and on Twitter at “@El_conservador.” He has a weekly podcast on El Conservador on BlogtalkRadio.com and since January a weekly program on San Antonio’s KLUP 930 AM radio station (The Answer).
Goals of the San Angelo TEA Party are to educate, motivate, and inspire fellow citizens to actively participate in the political process. The SATP is guided by the basic principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, sovereignty of Texas and the United States, and adherence to the Constitutions of the United States and of Texas. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month and everyone is welcome. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
