The CVRW Organization of San Angelo is hosting “Secure the Future of Texas” at Bentwood Country Club on Thursday, October 20th at 6:00 p.m. This headliner event is a first for San Angelo and the Concho Valley.
“Secure the Future of Texas” is a non-political keynote speaker event to bring awareness and foresight to the community about the Texas border situation and the education of children in public schools.
This event will feature our native son, Congressman Lt. Col. August Pfluger, as the Moderator and Commentator.
Speakers for the event are: Sara Carter, a renowned television commentator and investigative news journalist, and wife of a serviceman blinded in Afghanistan, will be reporting on the Texas Border Crisis;
Sam Sorbo, celebrated author, actress, and host of The Sam Sorbo Show on radio and podcast, will discuss the challenges in the public school system and homeschooling for our children; and
Cathleen Green-Schranz, PhD, is a life coach with background in the educational system and will talk about her experiences with inner city youths and their mentoring programs.
Sam Sorbo and the CVRW has a gift for everyone attending the event and will also have a book signing. There will be a silent auction, artwork by painter, Ray Simon on display for purchase, and a door prize drawing. A photographer will be at the event. Limited-seating tickets are available, $20.00 per person.
