Little Big Word
Some little (short) words have big meanings. Take the word ‘all’ for example. “All” leaves no room for anything else. Do ‘all’ this work. Clean up ‘all’ your toys. Give me ‘all’ your money. See what I mean?
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?
In Matthew 28:18-20, we have been given an example so very clear. “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.’”
From these verses we learn:
1. Jesus has ‘all’ authority. This means there is no authority for anyone else.
2. The Gospel is to be preached to ‘all’ nations. This means there is no place where the Gospel is not preached.
3. ‘All’ the commandments of Jesus are to be taught and obeyed. You can’t pick and choose those commandments you like.
4. Jesus promises to be with you always. There is no place you can go where he cannot help you.

QUÉ DICE LA BIBLIA?
Pequeña gran palabra
Algunas palabras pequeñas (cortas) tienen grandes significados. Tome la palabra 'todos' por ejemplo. “Todos” no deja lugar para nada más. Haz 'todo' este trabajo. Limpia 'todos' tus juguetes. Dame todo tu dinero. ¿Ves lo que quiero decir?
¿QUÉ DICE LA BIBLIA?
En Mateo 28:18-20, se nos ha dado un ejemplo muy claro. “Y Jesús se acercó y les dijo: Toda potestad me es dada en el cielo y en la tierra. Id, pues, y haced discípulos a todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, enseñándoles a guardar todo lo que os he mandado y he aquí yo estoy con vosotros todos los días, hasta el fin de la edad.'"
De estos versículos aprendemos:
1. Jesús tiene 'toda' la autoridad. Esto significa que no hay autoridad para nadie más.
2. El Evangelio debe ser predicado a 'todas' las naciones. Esto significa que no hay lugar donde no se predique el Evangelio.
3. 'Todos' los mandamientos de Jesús deben ser enseñados y obedecidos. No puedes escoger y elegir los mandamientos que te gustan.
4. Jesús promete estar contigo siempre. No hay lugar al que puedas ir donde él no pueda ayudarte.
YA SABES, "TODO" ES UNA PALABRA MUY GRANDE, ¿NO?
