What can the word of God (The Bible) do for me? What does the Bible say?
Hebrews 4:12-13 “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever; the ordinances of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they then gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is thy servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.”
From this scripture we learn:
1. The law of the Lord is complete and gives life to the weary heart.
2. The word of God testifies to the wisdom of God.
3. The rules of God are so good they bring joy to the heart.
4. The commandments are so pure they will last forever.
5. They are desirable.
6. The Word of God warns us of danger and rewards those who obey.
Our desire should be for our words to be in agreement with God’s word.

¿Qué dice la Biblia?
¿Qué puede hacer la palabra de Dios (La Biblia) por mí? ¿Qué dice la Biblia?
Hebreos 4:12-13 “La ley de Jehová es perfecta, vivifica el alma; el testimonio de Jehová es seguro, que hace sabio al simple; los preceptos de Jehová son rectos, alegran el corazón;
el mandamiento de Jehová es puro, ilumina los ojos; el temor de Jehová es limpio, perdurable para siempre; las ordenanzas del SEÑOR son verdaderas y justas en conjunto. Más deseables son entonces el oro, incluso mucho oro fino; más dulce también que la miel y la grasa del panal. Además, por ellos es amonestado tu siervo; guardarlos hay una gran recompensa”.
De esta escritura aprendemos:
1. La ley del Señor es completa y da vida al corazón cansado.
2. La palabra de Dios da testimonio de la sabiduría de Dios.
3. Las reglas de Dios son tan buenas que traen alegría al corazón.
4. Los mandamientos son tan puros que durarán para siempre.
5. Son deseables.
6. La Palabra de Dios nos advierte del peligro y recompensa a quienes obedecen.
Nuestro deseo debe ser que nuestras palabras estén de acuerdo con la palabra de Dios.
