Lori Wilson whose family showed up to support her at her press conference made it official as a candidate for the Tom Green County Commissioner Precinct 4 seat. Wilson made the announcement on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
SAN ANGELO – Lori Wilson wears many hats, she is a wife, a mother, grandmother, a community leader and volunteer. And now Wilson is ready to try on a new type of hat as in throwing her “hat in the ring” for the Tom Green County Commissioner Precinct 4 position.
Wilson, flanked by her family, held a 10 a.m. press conference on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Tom Green County Courthouse area to announce that now was the time for her to challenge the incumbent, Bill Ford for the seat.
With Wilson’s children now grown, she has plenty of time to devote to the position.
“The time is right for change and I am the right person. Tom Green is growing rapidly and the TGC Commissioner needs to be someone who is available fulltime for the job. You need someone who is committed to this job and committed to the citizens of this community” concluded Wilson.
